Spacious accommodation and grounds offering good location for touring and we did enjoy our family holiday.

Main issues were maintenance of this property. Second day had no water and Plummer had to be called. Outside swing and slide broken and area overgrown.Dishwasher broken which we temporarily fixed. Broken shelf in bathroom and knobs on cupboards loose. There is a pot hole on entrance to drive to property so be careful on approach. We were only left a set of keys to main door. There was no back door key or keys in conservatory. In event of a fire we had no other means of exit.

We recently spent an ideal two weeks in Cluancarrag and were blown away with the cottage.

It was warm, homely but very spacious and fully equipped with everything we needed. The location is very rural and peaceful being set back from the lane. The open fires were lovely in the evening and we cannot wait to return, it was a real wrench having to leave. Thanks

Fantastic break loved the tranquility of the area only minor issues are it's very remote so do prepare for this.

Kilkelly is quite close but just a very small village. Secondly with such a tranquil area and if the weather is great it's a nice place to chill out and relax but there is no outdoor furniture at all to sit in outside. These are only minor issues and I would certainly go back to this cottage.

“The cottage has a warm and cosy feel from the moment you walk in.”

The secluded location is nice and private as it is off the main road but still close to Kilkelly town for your shopping needs. There is more than enough room for a family with lovely grounds to play out in if you have young children where they will be in view and safe from traffic. The cottage is close to Westport, Castlebar, Swinford and a host of other towns for days out etc. My family and I had a fantastic week here we were even lucky to get some snow which made for a beautiful setting.
